Outdoor Recreation Office Due to flooding, all Outdoor Rec customers are redirected to Equipment Rental until further notice.

Offutt AFB - Outdoor Recreation

 

Lake Offutt, FamCamp campground, the park for day use, Pavilion facility, and Archery Range will be closed for the winter due to restoration following the Missouri River flooding. For the safety of our patrons and to allow time for tree removal and water to recede.

The Outdoor Recreation/Equipment Rental office will be closed Feb 12-29 as we relocate. We will be co-located with Auto Skills, behind Wherry Shoppette, as of March 1. Patrons may call 402-294-4049 during the closure and leave a message if they need assistance.

New Hours for Outdoor Recreation/Equipment Rental as of March 1:
Mon/Tue/Sat 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Thu/Fri 9 a.m. - 6 p.m., closed Wed/Sun/Holidays.

Outdoor Recreation Program registration, RV & Auto Storage Lot, Aquatics Administration, and Equipment Rental business phone is 402-294-4049, co-located with Auto Skills.

Lake Offutt, Park, Archery Range and Famcamp is planning to re-open early March. Reservations for Pavilion (1 year in advance) and Picnic Shelter (6 months in advance) may be made in person now at the new ODR/ER office. Call 402-294-2108 for date availability. The Cast-Aways Boathouse will open for the season on April 16 and begin taking 30-day advance Famcamp reservations, pre-season is first-come, first serve. Lake Offutt Fish Permits and Archery Range Passes will be available for purchase March 1 at the ODR office! Continue to check the website for up to date information.

Outdoor Recreation is located at Lake Offutt, off Harlan Lewis Road in Bellevue, April-October; off season office at Equipment Rental, Bldg 540 on Butler Blvd on base.

Outdoor Recreation offers a diverse Outdoor Adventure program, Archery range with passes available for purchase, Intramural Archery, Fishing League; 80 acre park at Offutt Lake featuring Tent Camping, RV FamCamp, rental paddleboats, canoes, kayaks, and jon boats, sand volleyball court, 2 playgrounds; fishing permits, camping, fishing supplies, and concession operation at the Boathouse; four picnic shelters and the indoor Pavilion for squadron and private reservations. Additionally, Equipment Rental, RV Storage Lot and the Aquatics program is within the Outdoor Recreation department and more info can be find on their individual links.
