Upcoming Events:

Community Center – New Hours
Effective Febuary 1, the Community Center’s new hours of operation will be Monday:  9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Tuesday – Friday:  9 a.m. – 7 p.m., Saturday:  11 a.m. – 6 p.m., and closed on Sundays and holidays.

Father / Daughter Valentine Dance - view flyer
The Father / Daughter Valentine Dance will be held February 4, 6 – 9 p.m. at the Community Center.  This year’s theme is “The Wild Wild West”.  Dress is semi-formal and western wear is highly encouraged!  Tickets go on sale now!  Cost is $25 per couple, and $8 for each additional daughter.    This always sells out quickly, so don’t delay.  Call the Community Center  for details.

Chess Tournament
Join the Community Center on February 25, 11:30 a.m. for a chess tournament!  There is a $5 entry fee and a minimum of 15 must register for tournament to take place.  Call the Community Center for more details.

Modern Digital Photography
Join D&L Studios on February 25, 1 – 3 p.m. in the Community Center Ball Room as they host the Modern Digital Photography course!  A minimum of 5 participants and a maximum of 15 participants is required for registration.  Contact the Community Center for more information and to register.

Creativity Class with Lacey
Join Lacey at the Community Center on February 25, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. for a tie-dye and friendship bracelet creativity class!  Pay $15 and get one shirt included, or pay $10 and bring your own shirt.  Call the Community Center for more information and to register.

Family Portraits Package with D&L Photography
Get your family portraits taken by D&L Photography on March 24, 3 – 6 p.m.  A maximum of 16 may sign up for this date and payment must be made at sign up.  Call the Community Center for details and to sign up.

Ongoing Programs:

Flute, Sax, and Clarinet Lessons
Flute, sax, and clarinet lessons with Jennifer are available Thursday evenings starting at 3 p.m. at the Community Center!  Optional Wednesday classes are available, based on instructor availability.  For more information and to register, call the Community Center.

Performance Piano
The Community Center is now accepting students for “Performance Piano” with Dr. Paula Moseman!  Programs are available for beginner, intermediate, advanced and graduate students.  Lessons will begin on Nov. 15 with openings on Mondays from 12 – 5 p.m. and Tuesdays – Thursdays from 12 – 8 p.m.

Gaming Equipment
The Community Center has Xbox 360’s, Wii’s and Playstation 3’s available to be checked out! We have games, racing wheels, Wii Fit and so much more that you can check out and use on our big screen televisions. The equipment can also be checked out for squadron functions, birthday parties, graduation parties or just a fun night with friends. Check with the Customer Service desk for more information. Please note: Equipment can only be checked out and used inside the Community Center.

Kid-Friendly Zumba - view flyer
Kid-friendly Zumba is now being offered in the Community Center Playzone!  Bring your kids to play while you Zumba!  Ages 7 and under only.  Join Dawn & Serena for adult Zumba, Tuesday – Friday, 6 - 7 p.m. to start getting on your way to better health.  Zumba is a fun, dance inspired workout that is sure to build your self-esteem and muscle!  Cost is $5 per class or you may purchase a punch card for $30 and get every ninth class for free!

Voice Lessons
Wish you could be the next Offutt Idol? Sign up for voice lessons at the Community Center! Voice lessons are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Cost: $15 / 30-minute session; $30 / 60-minute session.

Moms, Pops, ‘N’ Tots Playgroup
MPT meets every Monday and Wednesday from 9:30 - 11 a.m. for open playtime in the interactive Playzone, art and craft activities, and story time with snack. Field trips and holiday parties are planned throughout the year. The admission for MPT is only $1.50 per family per visit. This is the perfect opportunity to meet other spouses and provide social interaction for your child.

Expanded Music Lessons!
The Community Center is offering more music lessons! Additional piano instruction will be held Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday. Guitar instruction will be Wednesday and Thursdays at 4:30 p.m. Cost: $50 / month, four weekly one-on-one 30-minute sessions.

Need Some Space?
Looking for a place to host a party, ceremony, or reception? The Community Center offers wonderful room amenities at affordable rates! Rent a large ballroom (for 220+ people) for only $130 for 5 hours. The Playzone is the perfect place to entertain young children for a birthday party, only $40 for 3½ hours. The SAMS recreation room is the perfect size for the functions with 60 or fewer people, with a fun atmosphere and adjoining Game Room, just $60 for 5 hours!
