Home Alone Class
The next class will be at 6:30 p.m. on November 19 in the Community Center. Home Alone classes are required for children age 10 or older who may be left alone in base housing. This free class teaches children what to do in emergency situations and provides useful tips to keep children safe. A parent must accompany their child to this class. Start Smart Basketball
Start Smart Basketball is a parent-child program designed to teach children 3- to 5-years-old the fundamentals of the sport. The program begins January 21 and will run Wednesdays, 6 - 7 p.m. for six weeks. A parents’ meeting is scheduled for January 14 at 6 p.m. Registration begin December 1; only 20 parent-child spots are available, so sign up soon! Cost: $35 / military, $45 / non-military. Parents’ Night Out
The Child Development Center will be offering two great opportunities for parents to get that extra holiday shopping time in! The CDC will have extended hours by reservation, 5 p.m. - 12 a.m., on December 6 and 20. Cost: $3.70 / child / hour. Make childcare reservations by calling 294-2203.

December 11 & 18, 6 - 8 p.m., for ages 16 - 19. Teens must be able to attend both classes. Learn about budgeting, checkbook management, and
